How RATERX TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED uses cookies, local storage, and security features across raterx.ai.
This policy explains how RATERX TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED (“Rater-X”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and browser storage on raterx.ai.
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information, including information processed by our hosting and security providers.
1. Our current approach
We do not use advertising cookies, website analytics tools, tracking pixels or technologies that track your activity across unrelated websites.
Our website application does not set cookies, and no cookies were observed during normal browsing in our production checks completed on 18 September 2026. The application does not use session storage.
We use one local-storage preference to remember your chosen website theme. Cloudflare, our security provider, may also use necessary security cookies if a protection feature is triggered.
2. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website or service stores in your browser. They may be sent back with later requests to remember information or support functions such as security checks.
Local storage allows a website to retain information in your browser between visits. Unlike cookies, local-storage values are not automatically sent with every request to the website.
Session storage is browser storage associated with a particular browsing session or tab. Our application does not use it.

This preference does not contain your name, email address or an advertising identifier.
You can change your preference using the website's theme controls. Clearing the website's stored data may reset that preference.
4. Hosting and security cookies
Our website is hosted by Netlify and protected by Cloudflare.
No Netlify or Cloudflare cookies were observed during our latest normal-browsing production checks. However, if a Cloudflare security or bot-protection feature is triggered, Cloudflare may set cookies to carry out a security check, distinguish legitimate traffic from automated activity or remember the outcome of a challenge.
These cookies support website security rather than advertising. Their names and expiry periods depend on the feature and configuration involved. They are not necessarily deleted when you close your browser.
The absence of cookies during an ordinary visit does not guarantee that no security cookie will be set during a later visit.

5. Analytics, advertising and external services
We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or similar tracking tools.
Our fonts are self-hosted. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts to load the website's fonts.
Calendly is provided as an external link, rather than an embedded booking widget. No Calendly widget or script is loaded on our website.
If you follow a link to Calendly, LinkedIn or another external service, that service may use its own cookies and browser storage. Its own privacy and cookie policies apply when you visit it.
6. Your choices
You can use your browser settings to:
- view and delete cookies;
- block or restrict cookies;
- clear local storage and other website data; and
- configure when browsing data is removed.
The available controls depend on your browser and device. Consult your browser's help section for instructions on managing cookies and site data.
Clearing raterx-theme may reset your theme preference. Blocking security cookies may prevent access to parts of the website or cause security checks to appear again.
Our website currently offers no analytics or advertising-cookie categories to opt into. If we introduce technologies requiring consent, we will provide appropriate information and obtain consent before using them where required by applicable law.
7. Personal information and international processing
Hosting and security services may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and request information, even when no cookie is set.
Cloudflare and our other providers operate internationally, and relevant information may be processed outside Nigeria. Our Privacy Policy explains the providers involved, international processing, retention and your privacy rights.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our website technologies, provider configuration or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page with its last-updated date. Where a change requires consent, we will request it before using the relevant technology.
